Smoking Cessation

The purpose of the Smoking Cessation program is to assist patients who wish to quit smoking. It is a four-week program designed to provide patients with the knowledge and confidence to quit, with a plan suited to each patient’s individual circumstances and lifestyle. The focus of the program is based on national guidelines, combining behavior and medication therapy to help patients quit by the end of four weeks.

Our program runs at least three times every year. Our meetings are usually on Saturdays at 10 AM at the Salvation Army cafeteria. In addition to quitting smoking, prizes, and quit kits, informational guides are given to those who complete the program!
