What is Mind and Wellness Committee?
The Mind and Wellness Committee at the Willow Clinic is oriented toward providing services and resources that holistically aid our patient population's mental health and overall well-being. Our services are split into two components, the first being our monthly BHT(Mental Health Clinics) and the second being our mental well-being events such as our monthly wellness night and our newly introduced mental health symposium.
Currently, our BHT clinic happens every 3rd Saturday of the month and we see up to 4 patients and have a waitlist system to accommodate as many patients as possible. If you are interested in our BHT clinic or our mental wellbeing events please reach out to us!!!

Wellness Research
Mind and Wellness Committee has endeavored in impressive academic effort to bring more attention to Willow Clinic and health equity for people experiencing homelessness. These efforts have resulted in notable recognition as well as better quality of care during clinics as BHT forms help better support our patient popualtion.
Wellness Nights
Wellness Night is a weekly event held at the Salvation Army that promotes the healthy balance between the physical, mental, and social well-being of the homeless population in Sacramento. The program provides supplies for art therapy and offers free yoga classes every Friday from 7-8 pm. Wellness Night strives to promote healthy ways of dealing with stress and allows a warm and comfortable environment for free artistic expression. It is a unique experience that gives the undergraduate student an opportunity to connect with the underserved population on a more personal level outside of the clinical setting by listening to life stories and showing compassion.
