What do you like best about the Willow Project? The learning experiences of interacting with people of many different backgrounds – both the members and the people we serve. What is your most memorable Willow Project experience? Willow Project Coat Drive 2007 What does being a part of the Willow Project mean to you? Being apart of Willow means motivating and pushing yourself out of bed early in the morning to go out and help the homeless even when you are not at your best. Willow is being apart of a commitment to put yourself in situations you normally would not be comfortable with – seeking donations/soliciting. Though after all is said a done, you know that at the end of the day of being with Willow, you’ve had fun doing some good, with great people, even if it the good that you do is minuscule in the grand scheme of life. Every bit counts. Give an interesting story or fact about yourself? After living on Krypton for many, many years, I’ve decided, much regrettably, to strip myself of all my powers and live life anew as the one called Sammy, man of three worlds. Born in Burma, raised in Jamaica, and softening the hearts of all Californians, I’ve come to realize that my one true wish really is to have one place I can call home and not have a luggage, just in case… What fruit are you and why? I want to say I’m a mango. I’m a man who can go anywhere he pleases given the right push from the right branch from the right tree. I am mango, mostly because it’s tropical, like my roots, and it is very sweet when ripened. If you sit with me for a while, you’ll also know that I get sweeter. What do you really think about Mayha and Fallon? I think Mayha is a secret agent from England, most likely aliased as Double-O Willow. Why? Because she has those moments when she stares you down like she’s analyzing you, but then realizes what she’s doing, and becomes really friendly and acts like she doesn’t know what’s really going on. Yea that accent, total agent accent (this is a compliment). Yea, we all know what’s really going on. She’s recruiting and training new Double-Os!! (I would like a spot of tea, also.) Fallon, she’s a mole. Not the one in the ground or on some faces, but an ex-KGB – most likely still active. Why else would she want the same emails Mayha gets? And, they work closely together. It’s the perfect way to spy on England’s newest agent. Also, Fallon is very friendly, like Mayha, coincidence? I think not. Yea, that smile, total agent smile. Or my theory is wrong, and they are normal kids like us, trying to juggle love, life, learning, and humor all at the same time. They a’ite.. |
